I’M BUMMED….
Why am I so blue? Because there’s no local Unitarian Universalist congregation less than 45 minutes away. It’s great going to Sunday services, but I want more. I want potlucks, and book clubs, and committee meetings. I want adult education classes on Wednesday nights, and the occasional movie night. I want to go to marches and rallies with a group of people who, like me, believe they can play a role in healing the world.
There might be a way to cure these blues…maybe I can find some like-minded folks who also want to go to potluck dinners, who also feel a commitment to social justice, who also are looking for a greater sense of community. Maybe they would be willing to join me in building a lay-led UU fellowship right here in the Piqua/Troy/Tipp City area.
